My father played for one of the teams in Rabat, and I was that kid running after a ball everywhere — in the courtyard, in the alleyway, on any patch of open ground we could find. Football wasn't simply a sport in our household. It was a language. A way of life.
As I grew up, that passion grew with me — but I discovered my real talent wasn't in my feet, it was in my writing. For the past ten years I've been writing for various online sports websites and newspapers, covering matches, analysing results, and trying to give the reader that same feeling I had as a child watching my father play.
